The first volume covers vessels with engines and bridge amidships and aft and lists about 10,000 ships. The second volume covers all vessels with engines aft and bridges amidships or right forward: over 2,600 vessels are named. The third volume classifies the modern type of ship with bridge, superstructure and engines aft covering between 10,000 and 12,000 vessels. Comlplete three-volume set of merchant ship identification for the1970's. 3 Volumes large 30 x 21 cm. Boards with cover. London, 1977 -78 - 79. Good condition.
